Hi :) ! My name is Martin, and I'm 23 years old. I grew up in a small village in the Prešov district in eastern Slovakia. Currently, I'm studying at the University of Žilina and working as an embedded software developer.

I'm an active and outdoorsy guy. Time spent in the mountains is my greatest passion. When I'm in the mountains, I usually climb or hike there. When I'm not there, I usually do other sports such as slacklining or sailing.In combination with traveling it makes a perfect way to get to know the world, people, and their cultures.

I consider myself a calm and easy-going individual, always open to new experiences and friendships. I enjoy engaging in meaningful conversations and believe that mutual respect and understanding are key to building strong connections. Whether it's sharing a meal, exchanging travel stories, or exploring a new city together, I'm always eager to connect with people and broaden my horizons.

I like Couchsurfing because it lets me really experience the places I visit in different way than just staying in a hotel. This way, I can learn about people their lives, share meals, and understand their culture better.

Couchsurfing is also about making friends and connecting with others. It's a way for me to have interesting conversations and build relationships with people from all over the world. Overall, it's more than just finding a place to stay... :) it's about being part of a community that believes in sharing and learning together.

My taste in music is diverse. I enjoy pop, rock, electronic music, and even classical music has a special place in my playlist.

I love travel books that inspire me to explore new countries, as well as self-development and psychology books that offer valuable insights.

I don't watch movies or series often since I spend a lot of time in the mountains. When I do, I enjoy documentaries, psychological films, and some sci-fi.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I've done is hiking through my entire home country on the SNP Trail, which is 770 km long, in 27 days. The journey was both physically and mentally challenging, but it was unforgettable.
