About Me
Currently I am doing a three-month during Interrail (I am taking a gap-year) in which I want to experience new places and meet new people. I am very social, but I also like to retreat to the quiet once in a while. People describe me as kind, independent, open(-minded) and involved. I decided to take a gap-year to travel, spend more time with the people who are very important to me. The first part of my Gap year was spend with friends and at work; I continued working at my local, but very famous, bookstore Dominicanen and started a job as a dishwasher at 'De Brandweerkantine', a big restaurant/cafe/bar where they primarily work with locally sourced and environmentally friendly produced food and products.
I grew up in a very creative household and design, interior and architecture have always sparked my interests. During my Interrail I would love to take the time to visit museums and other creative spaces, spend time looking at architecture and to start drawing more. I also want to pick up reading again, since I really love it but failed to make proper time for it in the past years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to visit new places that I would otherwise never see and meet new people that I would otherwise never meet. Couchsurfing sounds like the best way to stay local, make new friends and to save some money while travelling.
