My name is Adriana García and I am 22 years old, and I just graduated from college in Mexico. I see myself as an honest, responsible and caring person. I owe all this to my parents. I have grown up in an environment that has taught me that, if I want to be or do something in life, I must work for it. I am a person who has matured early due to causes beyond my control. From the moment my father died, everything around me has changed. As life goes on, I have learned to value all the effort that each member of my family makes to move forward in life. I have also learned to thank and live every moment of my life. Over the years I have discovered that I can achieve everything that I set myself up to. I always try to enjoy everything I do, from studying, to going for a walk, or enjoy time with my loved ones.

I live in Nuevo Laredo, a city located in the north of Mexico, a border-town with the United States. Living in a border-town has taught me an immense amount of cultural values, of which I would like to experience these somewhere else in the world. I would love to meet different people with different cultures. That is why I am currently living in the UK with a host family.
