Overview
About Me
Well, this is Jim (Dimitris in 🇬🇷). 20 yo, live in Athens, studying economics but not really into it. I can’t imagine my life without travelling and so here I am. My pockets are almost always empty, but I find ways to reach my next travel destination.
AS A HOST, I offer a seperate room with a double bed. You will have the chance to meet my roommate, he is a cat and his name is Fidel. Unfortunately I don't have plenty of time in the daytime, but I'm free at nights. I'll try to find some free time at afternoons so I can show you around, but i can't promise anything. It is quite possible that while I'll be hosting you, there will be a strike or a protest in the city centre and I'd love it if you joined me there. Also, if I have time I'll cook for you.
AS BEING HOSTED, please let me help you with some housework. I can also cook for you, maybe something greek, something traditional. I'm a smoker but i won't smoke in your house, unless you smoke too. I'm really easy going, I can even sleep on the floor if there is no room. Actually, I've slept so many times in ships, in tents, at the countryside, on mountains, etc, that a house floor seems quite comfortable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I said before, I can't imagine how my life would be without travelling. I haven't been in many countries yet, but no worries, I'm still young and with many plans for future trips. First time I heard about Couchsurfing I was in High-School, I had never been abroad and the first thing that came into my mind was "what a nice way to stay in places for free". Don't judge me, I had never travelled or met other travellers. So when I got in college I signed myself in here just to search a little bit. I wasn't planning to travel soon but I got a request to host a guy in my place. I said "why not" and that's when I realized that Couchsurfing is not about the free stay.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the guitar if you want so. I can aslo show you some greek recipies. I'd want if you did the same for me. I love trying new dishes from foreign cuisines and I love it more if I am able to make them on my own in my home. So teach me.
