My name is Analena and I’m originally from NY state but my parents are German and we moved to Germany when I was 15. There I lived for 5 years, did my high school and a year of voluntary work.
I left Germany November 2020, and spent 6 months backpacking and doing workaway in Ecuador and then went to the Dominican Republic where I lived for over a year and found one more beautiful family/community I hope to keep for my lifetime.
Now I am back in New York for the first time in 7 years reconnecting with my home and my people there but regularly go back to Germany to visit my family.

On my travels I have met some truly wonderful fellow human beans through this amazing platform who have opened their homes and their hearts to me and given the chance I would love to return the favor!
Having meaningful connections with wonderful people is one of my life’s greatest joys

Intereses

I love to be outdoors (especially in the woods) and explore new places, city’s, cultures, traditions and most importantly FOOD!
Also i would really like to learn more about mycology. So if anyone is going out mushroom hunting, take me with youuuu!!!
