Overview
About Me
I was born in La Plata, I'm 32 years old male and I love travelling. I studied architecture and have some background in visual arts too. In my free time, I enjoy cooking home-made food, doing free-hand drawings and practising sports, in particular going swimming or playing tennis. I'm a very friendly and easygoing individual. I'm a really curious person, I love learning foreign languages and talking about culture, politics or any general theme.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travelled around South America and I visited New York, Barcelona and Paris two years ago in my first intercontinental trip. At the moment I'm in Venice, Italy, having my first experience living abroad. I came here to study for a MA in Architecture. I have been here for two months and I would like to meet new people. I'm really interested in getting in touch with local people who can help me with learning the Italian language and lifestyle.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classic rock and folk music are my favourites. I am a huge fan of the music from the Beatles, Queen and Pink Floyd, and I also enjoy the music of Radiohead, U2, Coldplay and Adele. Besides, I love Argentinian bands like Soda Stereo and singers like Charly Garcias and Mercedes Sosa. I like drama films, especially those based on true histories and I prefer reading non-fiction books, in particular, historical essays or those about cuisine.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I have done was visiting the Machu Piccu historical site and climbing into the Huayna Picchu mountain, which is allowed to be visited by 400 people daily. Starting at 4 am, I climbed up 400 steps from Aguas Calientes to Machu Piccu, to get a place before the buses with mass tourism arrived. Once I reached the gates at 6 am, there was a thick fog which made the site look like floating.
I visited the ruins and at 11 am climbed again another 400 steps to the tiny top of the Huayna Piccu mountain, from where I had a wonderful view from the entire historical site and it looked like being on the clouds. Finally, I went down to Aguas Calientes again and I walked 11 km by a railroad to get a van who drove us to Cuzco. It was one of the most exhausting but most rewarding experiences of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to share my travel experiences with anyone. I can provide good advice on drawing techniques, some knowledge about architecture and Latin American history and some recipes from Argentinian traditional cuisine. I am really enthusiastic to learn about any the mediterranean culture in general as I am a really curious person.
