Overview
About Me
Christian and I recently finished our graduate degrees and have settled down near the heart of Salt Lake City. I work as a NICU nurse. Outside of work you can find me writing, hiking in the gorgeous mountains that neighbor our home, cooking, thrifting, playing music with Christian, rolling at our local Jiu Jitsu gym and planning our next trip.
Christian, my husband, is a music teacher and gigs in SLC for restaurants, bars, events and more. One of his favorite things in the world is jamming so fellow musicians welcome!

Music, Movies, and Books
My husband is a musician, so we have a very diverse music taste. If you like music you’ll have a lot to talk about! Favorite genres are jazz(Chet Baker, small combos), bluegrass&folk(Avett Brothers, The Punch Brothers), funk(James Brown, Volfpeck), hip hop(D’Angelo).
As for movies, we like documentaries, foreign films and classics. A few favorites are Dead Poet Society, 3 Idiots, and Star Wars.
I love reading. I recently finished “The body keeps the score” by Bessel Van Der Kolk” and am currently reading “Becoming” by Michelle Obama. I have a growing library, check my list out on goodreads:

What I Can Share with Hosts
We want to host an environment where guests can feel comfortable and enjoy the beauties and diversity of our city. We don’t have a lot of space but you’re welcome to make yourself at home in our living room. We’re pretty consistent with the “couch surfing” title as we have a couch that pulls out to a queen size mattress. We can only accommodate for short term stays as our schedule is a little random. Shoot us a message and we’ll see what we can do :)
We live in an older building, so we ask that all guests remove their shoes after coming inside to help preserve the original floors & to keep them clean.
We have one bathroom and as stated above our place is small, so if you’re looking for a private room or need more personal space we probably aren’t a good fit.
