I'm a French student, and I would like to become an English teacher. Growing up, I traveled a lot with my family, but now, I'm beginning to discover new places on my own! I am curious, and I like to discover new people with different interests, different cultures and languages.

I like to travel and to meet new people. I think it's a good opportunity to share moments with people from around the world (or Europe in my case), and to create the opportunity to immerse myself in a foreign language and culture (I think it's important for me, because I want to become an English teacher, and exchanging with others is a big part of that i believe). I find the non-monetary approach of human relations enabled by Couchsurfing very interesting and precious :)

Музыка, кино и книги

I play the recorder, so obviously, I like music that involves it (such as folk or baroque music), but I also like French songs from the 60s, and more generally any melodic tune that stays in my head :)
I love musicals, French cinema from the Nouvelle Vague, and period movies.
I read about anything that falls into my hands, but I especially like 19th century English and French literature (such as writers like Austen, Brontë, Hardy, Stendhal), and also many 20th century writers like Simone de Beauvoir, Aragon and Zweig.

Participating to wheat harvests by hand in Normandy last summer was a great experience: discovering forgotten types of cereals, meeting a great group of people who wanted to revive urban agriculture in Normandy, eating great pancakes !

I've been brought up in a family of teachers, so curiosity and thirst for knowledge was always important for me; I've always liked learning about practically anything. I now want to become a teacher, so obviously teaching/learning is an important value for me.

I love to exchange ideas and experiences; I would be happy to speak French or English with anyone who wants to have the opportunity to practice their conversation skills ; otherwise I really like to speak with others for the sake of the discussion.
