About Me

Heya! Nice to meet you!

I’m Zakaria, I’m 25 from Italy, born in a small rural village and from Moroccan parents.

I’m very kind, friendly, positive, easygoing, caring, responsible, mature, open-minded and respectful. I love soulful conversations. I love to listen to my companions and ask them questions about their life experiences. I’m a very empathetic person.

I smile a lot and deeply feel the value of this life. I like to joke, talk, walk and contemplate the beauty around, living this life playfully.

I’m crazy about nature, hiking, languages, meeting new people and culture! I’m here because I love to meet new people, listen to their stories, get to know them and broaden my horizons.

I would be very happy and grateful to meet you my friend I haven’t met yet, learn about your culture and language and share unforgettable moments 😊

I love traveling, I’m currently a grad student living in Milan, Italy. After finishing my undergraduate studies in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bologna I wasn’t completely sure about my future so I ended up taking a gap year. This gap year was very meaningful to me, and it was the first time I truly fell in love with traveling! During this year I lived for 6 months in America, (mainly in Boston MA) and visited 10 countries, plus I had the best experiences and met the most amazing people. Now I’m pursuing a masters of science degree at politecnico di Milano and don’t travel as much anymore.

In my free time I like going to the gym and running. I’m a little sarcastic sometimes. I tend to ask a lot of questions, but I’m just curious!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I believe that the best adventures happen when you meet YOUR people and you can have deep soulful conversations, learn their culture, cuisine, language directly from them! I love people!

I love experiencing new things, meeting people and learning about other cultures. If I could, I would travel nonstop to do so, but that’s not entirely feasible with my studies
