About Me
जब तक मैं खुद नहीं घूमती, घूमने वालों के लिए मेरा घर खुला है। - Quote by my Fav. Writer.(Anuradha Beniwal)
Hii,
I'm Shalu 'Anant' from delhi.
I’m mostly a solo traveler who believes journeys aren’t about how far you go, but how deeply you feel a place. I’m happiest when I’m watching a sunrise from a quiet mountain or reading a book while the waves crash beside me. I like slow travel — staying long enough to actually know a place and its people.
I took my first solo trip to Himachal for a month, and it changed everything for me. I stayed with a local family for seven days — and when I left, the lady of the house actually cried. That moment made me realize how deeply travel can connect strangers. Since then, I’ve been chasing that kind of experience — real, raw, human.
I’m peaceful, respectful, and low-maintenance. I love good conversations but also enjoy quiet company. I always keep things clean and try to leave a place better than I found it.
To support my travel life I've learned so much things. I've a blog website which i created myself and now I started a youtube channel also. Let's see how it works.
I'm a full time blogger. My website is on travel. https://indipedia.in/
my Insta ID- @alfa.bita.gama and @indipedia.in
Apart from that when we meet you'll know me better. See you soonnnnnn....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel isn’t complete without people. You can visit the most beautiful place, but it’s the human connection that makes it unforgettable.
Hotels give comfort, but homes give stories — and that’s what I’m after.
I love understanding how people live in different corners of the world, sharing meals, exchanging ideas, and learning small details of daily life that no guidebook ever mentions.
For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a way to belong for a few days wherever I go. It’s about kindness between strangers and that quiet magic when you realize the world is full of good people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first solo trip was to Himachal, where I stayed for a month exploring small villages and mountains. For seven days, I lived with a local family — we shared meals, stories, and quiet evenings under the stars. When it was time to leave, the lady of the house started crying.
That moment hit me hard. I realized that travel isn’t about moving from one place to another — it’s about creating real human connections strong enough to make goodbyes difficult.
That experience changed how I see the world. Now, wherever I go, I try to build the same kind of genuine connection — even if it’s just through one shared meal or one honest conversation.
