My name is Barbora and I come from "the heart of Europe" - Czech Republic.
As my friends would describe me, I am always smiling, a source of good mood and fun. I am friendly, open-minded, easy-going and creative. I am ready to help anytime, everywhere and to everybody. I am a dreamer, I believe in happy endings and the good of people.

I love travelling, exploring and learning about other customs and traditions. I am sure that the most effective way to get into a foreign culture is to get to know the local people, who are a reflection of the reality in that country. I also love hearing people's stories and couchsurfing is a great way to meet interesting people.

兴趣

Since childhood, I have never lost the desire to educate myself. I like to explore the fields of nature, natural medicine, but also history.
I love to spend time outdoors in nature accompanied by my dogs. I love animals and the greatest relaxation for me is spending time with them or working in the garden.
As I mentioned, I am a creative soul. I love to paint, draw and make jewellery and decorations mainly from natural materials.
My other hobbies include playing various instruments, singing, volleyball, skiing, cycling and board games.

I love reading books. My favorite books are the ones I can use to educate myself. Most often I read about nature, herbs, natural healing and history. On the other hand, I also enjoy reading authentic stories connected either with the Second World War or the communist era.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2020 I moved to northern Germany to spend my Erasmus semester there. Instead of six months I stayed there for over three years, I got to know "a part of the world", an incredible amount of people from so many different countries and cultures, and I got to know myself in depth. I learned many new things, became even more patient, tolerant and open-minded than before. This step changed my life and I consider it the best decision I have ever made.

As a proud Czech, I would love to introduce you to the culture, traditions and life in this small but wonderful country.
I will also be happy to tell you about all my travel experiences, especially from my life in Germany and the United States.
Last but not least, I work as a lecturer in an environmental centre and so I can enrich you in this area. I can answer all your questions regarding nature and environmental protection.
