hi everyone,
we are a german couple (both 21) and we love (wild) camping and nature in general. and we like hanging out with all kinds of different people who share some of our interests such as food/cooking, (sporty) activities and exploring beautiful cities and nature. we prefer to visit places that are not super popular and crowded but rather „insider“ tips of locals. we are also great fans of wild swimming and animals.

we are quite spontaneous and flexible, we easily get enthusiastic about many things.
despite us being vegetarian, we like pretty much every food and are simple to be culinarily fulfilled.

basti is doing his apprenticeship as a carpenter which he has a great passion for. carla is studying biology and german in order to become a teacher, probably in a montessori school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

we enjoy sharing stories about travels and life and getting all the secret information of locals (which is also a reason for us to travel by hitchhiking).
generally we are very sociable people and to be honest we don’t have thaaat much money to spend every night on a campsite or even in expensive hotels. we also hope for a little bit of comfort since we spent our last vacation almost only sleeping in our hammocks. :‘)

at the moment it is easier for us to surf than to host due to our rather small spaces that we live in. but feel free to ask and we‘ll see what we can do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

we wanted to go to france by car in august 21, then it broke on the first day so we spontaneously flew to sardinia and had the most amazing vacation. it really forced us going out of our comfort zone, strictly packing only neccessary things into our backpacks, leaving everything else behind and going to a place that we both didnt know anything about.
