About Me
About Me:
Hi! I’m Kasparas—a curious traveler, last-year medicine student, and someone who believes life’s best moments come from embracing the unexpected (especially if they involve a sea breeze or a good story). I love connecting with people from all walks of life, learning about their cultures, and sharing a laugh or two over a cup of coffee or a home-cooked meal.
I’m passionate about medicine, alternative travel (hitchhiking is my specialty), cooking, and storytelling. Whether it’s experimenting with a new recipe (don’t worry, I’ll try not to burn anything), diving into DIY projects, or learning local traditions, I’m always eager to pitch in and create something meaningful with others.
What I Bring to the Couchsurfing Community:
I’m happiest when I’m part of a community where everyone contributes. I enjoy sharing skills, helping out, and making sure everyone feels at home. From cracking a joke to lighten the mood to cooking pancakes in the morning, I’m always up for lending a hand. Plus, I’ve discovered that a little enthusiasm and curiosity go a long way, especially when learning something new.
Fun Facts About Me:
I’m very bad at folding fitted sheets but great at making pancakes;
I believe every recipe tells a story, and I love experimenting in the kitchen;
I’m an enthusiastic learner, whether it’s about new culture, languages, or DIY disasters (I’m great at troubleshooting those);
If you’re looking for a guest who’s eager to help, connect, and share meaningful experiences, I’d love to be part of your Couchsurfing adventure. Let’s make some great memories together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing is more than just finding a place to sleep—it’s about creating genuine connections. I want to meet like-minded people, exchange stories, and immerse myself in local cultures. Whether it’s sharing a meal, learning a secret recipe, or exploring your favorite hidden gems in the area, I’m all in for making unforgettable memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was the student exchange coordinator.
I once had the ultimate power to send Lithuanian students out into the world—like a travel agent, but way cooler (and slightly more stressed). As a student exchange coordinator, I organized and sent over 100 Lithuanian students abroad, making me feel like some kind of travel wizard or international matchmaking guru.
Did I single-handedly spread Lithuanian charm across the globe? Absolutely. Did I also gain a black belt in last-minute crisis management (like when someone forgot their passport two hours before their flight)? You bet. Somewhere out there, dozens of Lithuanians are probably thanking me for their adventures…or blaming me for their jetlag. Either way, it’s a win in my book!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can teach you Lithuanian (the ultimate secret code language), English (with a side of sarcasm), and the basics of medicine—like how to pretend you understand Latin phrases. Want to unleash your inner performer? I’ve got you covered with improv theater and storytelling tips that might just win you a TED Talk. Need travel hacks? I’ll show you how to hitchhike like a pro without looking like a lost penguin. Feeling stressed? I can guide you through meditation (no guarantees on finding enlightenment, but it’ll be fun). Oh, and if you need a cocktail, I’ll happily pass on my bartender skills—just don’t expect me to juggle the bottles (yet).
Learn:
I’m eager to learn new languages (bonus points if they’re ones I can barely pronounce), daily life skills (like how to fold fitted sheets without cursing), or even a new profession—astronaut, beekeeper, professional snack taster?
Share:
I’ll happily whip up a cooked meal that’s 80% delicious and 20% chaotic, all while sharing wild travel stories about the time I got lost, found, and everything in between. If nothing else, I promise to bring good vibes and an appetite for laughter. Let’s share an adventure!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking Skills:
I can whip up some Lithuanian dishes (ever tried cold beet soup? It’s pink and fabulous) or experiment with whatever ingredients you have lying around.
Help Around the House:
Need help with cleaning, organizing, or troubleshooting your IKEA furniture? I’m your person.
Language Exchange:
I’m happy to teach you some Lithuanian phrases to impress your friends (or confuse them), or help you brush up on English.
