Hi! I'm Daniël, 23 years old and living in Amsterdam for 5 years now. Im studying at the 'Hogeschool van Amsterdam'. in the direction of social work. It's all about making positive changes in the society with the use of culture and art. For example: I'm working in a organization where the main goal is increasing awareness by young people. We discuss social topics like sexuality, bullying, alcohol & drugs use etcetera... We do this by playing theater performances about these social topics. After each scene we discuss the topics in a small group of young students. It's not about good or fault but it's all about listening to each other, try to understand each other and bounding with each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So... this is my first time traveling by myself actually. At the moment i'm in Paris and i met some really cool people in some different hostels and just on the streets. Now i wanna go to Barcelona and Valencia in Spain and after that i wanna go to Lissabon in Portugal! I just think it's a really nice way of traveling because you need to rely on the goodness and love of people.
