Hi my Name is Elias and i am going to travel to Rumania in April for 4 month (and afterwards to the Balkans for 2 months probably). The first 3 weeks Severin will join me, who is a good friend of mine and who did his civilian service in Moldavia, so he speaks Romanian and i am trying to learn it atm.
I am about to finish my masters in Environmental Engineering and before i will start working somewhere, i am going to travel to East Europe to do some work and travel and wwoofing. I am really interessted in subsistence farming and a more nature-connected lifestyle, which will also be my focus in Romania. But i will also stay sometimes in cities, where i think couchsurfing could be a nice thing.
I really like the concept of couchsurfing but never actually used this website for it until now. But i am looking forward to use it on my journey, to get to know some nice people and actually I would also like to offer my couch one day, when I live somewhere where this would be possible.
I think Sevi and me are down-to-earth guys and we can cook you some austrian Kaiserschmarren, in return for your couch :) Hopefully see you soon!

音乐、电影和书籍

I really like going to concerts and at the moment I listen to a lot of French music like La Femme, Odezenne,... I really like watching films but often when I want to watch one I end up watching an Arte documentary on Youtube. But my favourite documentary is Encounters at the End of the World by Werner Herzog (also on Youtube). Its mostly about open minded, super interesting and funny people telling their story, which kind of fits the couchsurfing vibe I would say :D

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once I was in Nice, France, where I met an old man in a bar. He had lived in Vienna for 20 years and was an environmental activist back then and had endless stories about his crazy life. We became good friends and I ended up staying at his place for two weeks, a small house with a big garden in the hills of Nice, helping him with his gardening.
