I am a 29 year old male currently taking a break from commercial banking.

I am doing a 6 month road trip in the USA from Utah to Florida. I have spent a great deal of time some of the Western States like AZ, MT, WA, CA however I have not seen much of the Eastern States and looking forward to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet great people while I am on my roadtrip through America, help save on costs for a long trip and to see the city from a local perspective.

I have hosted many friends of friends not on CouchSurfer as they visited from the United States and other neighboring provinces in Canada. I enjoyed showing them the local secrets in our Rocky Mountains and other unique experiences tucked away in Alberta. I have made some great life long friends from hosting.

I am not expecting hosts to tour or entertain us but I'm always open ears to hearing about local favorite things to do that aren't not easily found on the internet.

I am always willing to lend a helping hand for any of my hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have gone skiing 21 days in a row in Montana one year due to great conditions. We kept on pushing the rest day for our legs until the trip was over.

We received 2 feet of snow on the best day.

It was truly the only time I saw the ski resorts handing out free snorkels for skiers so they didn't choke on the powder.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I am willing to teach anyone about finance/commercial banking. Whether they want me to review a business plan, teach them how to read a financial statement etc.

I am also willing to teach anyone how to ski, I have taken a 3 day Avalanche Safety Course and have been skiing for 25 years.

Learn - I am willing to learn anything. One of the things I like to say is "The moment you decide to stop learning is the moment you brain starts to die"

Share - I have a decent amount of life experience from the various corporate roles I have worked along with travel experiences from my exchanges during university years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am willing to help any of my hosts with any financial knowledge from being a commercial banker.

I am also willing to teach people how to ski.
