Having graduated with a master's degree in social policy and public health, I would like to spice up the working life a little bit by making some trips every now and then. I try to limit flying as much as possible, so I prefer travelling by train or riding my motorbike.

In summer 2022, I've been interrailing around Europe starting with a solo trip from the UK to Sweden and doing a smaller trip to Slovenia later in August. I loved the hikes in nature, (new) cities and people that have crossed my path!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy getting to know a new area from the inside out, rather than departing from the isolation of a hotel :)

So far I've immensely enjoyed the encounters through Hangouts and surfing, and I would love to give other people the same opportunity from my home base in Rotterdam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I went to see one of my favourite artists (Nand) perform live in Germany. It turned out I was the first international groupie to come and see his concerts, and we got to hang out a little after the concert!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty excited about the mobility shifts that are taking place within cities towards sustainable modes of transportation. I'm ready to keep my eyes and ears open and learn how other cities are taking steps towards becoming (even more) liveable cities. If you're curious, I'm happy to talk about this topic more!
