Hey there, I'm Petje.
I often really struggle at describing myself, but here I go anyway.
So when I was about 3 to 4 years old, my mum took me and my brother to live in England for a year and learn the English language. I can't remember much about that time, but I know that I never felt lost in this foreign place and therefore I think that that experience really started to kick off my urge to see the world now. During school I was dreaming of going abroad but I ended up being stuck in Germany doing a voluntary year as a paramedic.
Right now I live as an AuPair in Madrid and care for children, yet I would love to couchsurf throughout Spain and France and hopefully find some sweet, hospitable hosts to show me more about the country, its culture and especially the people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

When it comes to music I would sadly describe myself as mostly a basic bitch. Most of the time I listen to the Pop-Music on the radio but when it comes to partying or going on a rave I love techno music as well.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

As I said earlier, last year I did a voluntary service in Constance as a paramedic. I mainly just drove around sick and elderly people, but I really enjoyed helping them. I cannot really teach that, but if people in my presence were to have a medical emergency of a sorts I would be very good to have around ;)

All I can really think of right now, is that I can share with my host a great time. I'm really tempted to wright that I am a good cook, but the truth is that I am a decent cook at best. Emphasis on the decent, but I'm working on that ;)
I would love to go grab a coffee with my host and have a nice chat though or even feel up a party in the evening
