Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Femke, I'm 24 and I'm from the Netherlands. At the moment I work in a museum in Enkhuizen. I love to relax, be outside, cook, eat, socialize, play (board)games, listen to books, be creative, dance, cycle. I studied cultural heritage, and I am most interested in gastronomic heritage. I want to contribute in bringing back the real value of food and respect for food producers who work in harmony with the environment and ecosystems. This is where my heart is! Well at least that's what I thought, I am not very sure. The more I travel, the more ideas I get for my future. One thing I am sure of; I love to meet people. So let's start with that for now.
At the moment I live in a shared house in Wervershoof. Wervershoof is a nice neighborhood next to Medemblik and relatively close to Amsterdam.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I like lots of music genres; pop, rock, indie, soul, folk, chill, dance. I'm always open to new music.
But ofcourse, I have one favorite song: You're smart - Jacob Sigman. Tell me what you think about it.
I watch series on Netflix, my favorites are Sex Education, la Casa de Papel (part 1) and Anne with an E. I also like lots of movie genres, but I always forget the names of movies and actors... Don't judge me please.
Books... I love to read or to listen to books. Ofcourse Harry Potter is my first favorite. Other books I like: Ranger's Apprentice (John Flanagan), De Edelsteen-triologie (Der Eidelstein-trilogie Kerstin Gier), Divergent (Veronica Roth), Hungergames (Suzanne Collins), The Seven Sisters (Lucinda Riley).
Genres: adventure romans, fantasy, exciting books (but not thrillers, 'cause I don't sleep well..)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling by motorbike to France, alone.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My apartment is in a flat and you'll sleep in the living room. I'd like to spend some time together. I can show you the city center of Purmerend or the dams next to the IJsselmeer. But most of the time I end up talking or playing games and listening good music on the couch. You can see Amsterdam if you want.
