Hey there!

I'm a recently graduated political science student who loves to travel. Most of my travelling has been in the last couple of years (post pandemic) and I have really grown to prefer homestays and couchsurfing as way to explore, so here I am!

I am very open-minded and inquisitive, and definitely a yes-person. I love sharing experiences and thoughts, and learning from others.

I'd consider myself very chilled and easygoing. Having also surfed around flats when living In Germany, I am very considerate of other people's spaces and stuff (so please don't worry about me leaving a mess!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and also love the idea of community. Its what makes our lives memorable and enjoyable, and so couchsurfing is an amazing way to combine these things together with likeminded people.

Interests

If I could sum up my main hobbies in two words, it would be nature and music - Anything music related and I love it (whether it be playing, listening or dancing!). I started playing piano when I was six, so I guess that's where my passion for music started, and it has stayed with me ever since.

And the same goes for being outside hiking or just exploring. I'm always down for just aimlessly walking and enjoying our surroundings. I started to climb (mostly indoors) when I started university, which I still love to do where possible. But I mostly just go on hikes, and try go on as many hiking trips as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring Petra in Jordan is definitely the most amazing thing I've seen! Two full days of walking around an ancient city is something I will always cherish.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you piano! And would take great pleasure in it. I haven't taught for quite a few years but we csn give it a go for sure.

I can also attempt a conversation in german, but I expect you would end up teaching me more (I found it very tough)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to socialise and share experiences; I don't just want to take advantage of a free room! I want to make the most of the time to create memories and new friendships.

I am also down to cook, go for food and drinks, or just help around the house/flat in some way (to earn my stay!)
