Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I subscribed on Couchsrufing while going on my first solo trip to Berlin.

I had the chance to host wonderful people in my flat in Bordeaux, some of them became my friends and years later we are still meeting regularly. I met good friends and always happy to help them.

I find Couchsurfing really helpful, a great way to meet new people and make good memories together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not really into watching films and series because I prefer spending my time outdoors : )
I have a very eclectic taste about music : I listen to house, samba, bachata, salsa, kizomba, hip hop, afro and fado music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was an Erasmus student in Madrid, I went on an improvised road trip to Valencia with 3 "friends" I met the day before. We all slept in the car because we hadn't booked any hotel.

Another one:
In summer 2022, I came to Amsterdam with my only luggage and my resume to find a summer job there. I was a waitress in an Irish pub and spent my weekends working in an artisanal jewelry store. I met a lot of friends and it was actually my best summer so far. ❤️

Last one:
Being an au-pair for 6 months in Lisbon, Portugal. I lived with a wonderful family and still visit them on each occasion possible. I am missing the kids a lot but I am so happy I will see them growing along the years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love adventure and feeling I don't have to worry about what I am going to do on the upcoming days.

I also realized that traveling is much nicer when you share it with other people : ) and especially locals who can show you around and share fun facts about the city.

I love meeting people from all over the world and share great moments with them, discover local culture and learn some words of foreign languages.

I love chic rooftops and restaurants as well as more traditional and simple places.

I also love going to the theatre and dance shows.

I love being outdoors, strolling in the streets or go hiking and have a picnic at sunset.
