I’m a 20 year old man from Paris where I study philosophy and political science. I’m obsessed with a 20th century stream in philosophy, called “phenomenology” which is all about coming back to the primary human experience in order to conceptualize the world. This does not mean that everything is relative and that truth is not possible ; no the questions aren’t the same anymore. If it is possible to reveal the most fundamental structures of the human (inter)subjectivity, we can imagine a new social, cultural and political system in which these structures are respected! Beside these pseudo intellectual thoughts, I love to make music (check @up_ques on instagram!) to talk about it and to brag about my different Spotify playlists. I also love to swim in every water I can, from the coldest moutain lake to the water of the Seine or the Hudson. The best swims are those who conclude a good hike.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Discovering new countries can often not really be a discovery because you limit yourself to a lazy touristic comfort zone. I think it’s important to find the balance between traveling alone, with friends and meet new people. Couchsurfing is ideal to permit the last element. I hope people can share me their travel experiences and show me the hidden beauties or just the daily life of the countries I travel through.

I like to read philosophy : my favorite philosophers are Husserl, Bergson, Barbaras and Minkowski but I also love to read novels. The work of Isabel Allende, Édouard Louis and Michel Houellebecq stand out for me.
I’m not a huge cinephile, I’m often distracted while watching a movie bur I’d say my favorite movies are Once Upon a Time in the West, Taxi Driver and En Attendant Bojangles.
My favorite music genres are jazz, hip-hop and afrobeat. My top 3 of artists : Jungle By Night, Tyler, the Creator and Charlie Parker (or D’Angelo?).

A few months ago, I performed for the first time with my band in front of a thousand people, as the opening act of another artist. It was very exciting! Beside that, I don’t have incredible travel experiences because I’m really just starting to travel alone. I hope to live some weird adventures (which is paradoxal to hope).
