My name is Batuhan Öztürk, and I am a third-year undergraduate student from Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy (English Programme). First of all, if I briefly talk about myself, since my childhood, I have always wanted to see, explore and feel the world and more of everything. I have always been a child who was keen on research and learning by trying. I would go wherever my curiosity took me and I would share this curiosity with the people around me. Over the years, I have been interested in many subjects such as music, natural sciences, positive sciences. My search for what satisfies me has continued over the years. After a certain point, my interest in science, my desire to touch people's lives and heal them became one of the most important factors in my choosing the profession of pharmacy. The radical changes that started with the Renaissance, in which experimental thought was revived and focused on human life, led to important economic, political and social transformations with the Industrial Revolution. These transformations have also profoundly affected human health and health services. Considering one of the important duties of the pharmaceutical industry, public health and health services, the pharmaceutical academia has also fulfilled its share of all these changes and developments in a very dynamic way and has included many stakeholders in a multidisciplinary manner.
