Overview
About Me
A traveler, a future doctor, and a storyteller.
I am a final-year medical student from Turkey, currently balancing the intense life of hospital shifts with my passion for discovering the world. For me, traveling is not just about visiting monuments; it’s about the "soul" of a place—the hidden backstreets, the local kitchen smells, and the genuine stories of the people who live there.
I’ve spent a lot of time hitchhiking across Turkey, middle east countries and the Balkans Also I didn't hitchhike across the United States because it would have taken an incredibly long time :) Those experiences taught me how to be adaptable, how to appreciate the kindness of strangers, and how to stay calm in any situation. As a medical student, I’m naturally organized and very respectful of boundaries and cleanliness
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I've had amazing CS experiences during my time in the USA and Balkans.
I believe the best way to understand a city is through the eyes of someone who calls it home. I’m not looking for a free bed; I’m looking for a cultural exchange. I want to hear your stories, learn about your lifestyle, and perhaps share a meal together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trusting strangers and discovering that the world is much kinder than people think was the most eye-opening experience of my life. I managed to balance my medical studies with the unpredictability of the open roads. From hospital shifts to cross-border hitchhiking, I learned that the best 'medicine' is a good story and a new culture."
