I am an adventurous person by description, but not by experience and that is something I wish changed. I love all kinds of pointless fun - playing cards but not for money, taking long walks going particularly nowhere and talking with people I might never see again. I love listening to stories and sharing mine in return (of various types of quality). Mostly, I enjoy spending time with my friends and watching many many tv series and movies. Someday, I will read more, but probably tomorrow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been interested in travel but have not had the chance to travel as much as I wanted to. After much daydreaming I decided to give couchsurfing a chance because it sounds like a wonderful way to meet new people and stay in different cities without going broke.

It is hard for me to pinpoint my interests because, to be honest, there are not many things I am not interested in. I love learning even if I am not the most keen on studying.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, I enjoy all kinds, there is no genre that doesn't have little something I like. Therefore, I don't mind my friends picking music on car rides or parties.
I do really like show tunes. My favourite musicals to listen to are Hadestown and Hamilton.
My favourite concert I've been to was from Alestorm. I just love their silly fun pirate songs and listening them live was really special.
The first band from which I've listened their entire discography is Arctic Monkeys - I used to have all their songs on my phone and without WiFi to switch it up I would listen to their albums while taking the bus to school.

Books, I have for the longest time been a great fan of fantasy. Was it Harry Potter or weird mythology books from the library that started it all? I am not sure. Also did anyone read the "german Harry Potter" Laura books? Loved those as a kid.
Also, I love reading classics and sometimes even contemporaries. I am a Jane Austen/sisters Bronte fan going as far as fifth grade. I love to read about a good ball or a gothic atmosphere which is perhaps why I liked reading Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson so much.
Currently I am reading Wheel of time and as I am a slow reader who is determined to read them all, it will occupy me possibly forever or at least until George RR Martin or Patrick Rothfuss publish their next books.

Movies, I love watching SF, fantasy and superhero movies, I love the MCU and Star Wars even though I am not as hot on Star Wars as I was in high school. The Rise of Skywalker broke my spirit a little bit. I spent full 80 seconds staring blankly as the credits rolled on the big screen.
My first MCU movie was Avengers and I had no idea what was going on but was really enjoying myself and I remember my favourite avenger being Hawkeye but that choice got changed pretty much instantly.
This is just a fact, not a slander on Hawkeye.
Now I just finished watching Moon Knight and my favourite avenger is Thor, I suppose.
My favourite director right now is Taika Waititi which might explain why I started loving Thor so much. I also really like What do we do in the shadows - film and tv series, Our flag means death, Jojo Rabbit.

My favourite movies are 500 days of summer, What If, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Cabaret, Chicago, also National treasure and National treasure: Book of secrets.

My favourite TV show is Mad Men. And the one I most like to rewatch is New girl.
