My name is Rocío, I’m 25 years old and I’m a singer! I’ve been singing since I have memory. When I was 18 I began singing on restaurants, weddings, private events. At that age I also began to give singing lessons for all ages, at home and during the pandemic online. When I turned 22 I did my first contract as a cruise ship singer and that’s what I’m doing right now! I just finished my second contract in Malta and I decided to stay in that port and not go back to Argentina cause is my first time in Europe and I think it worth it to travel here for a while till my next contract!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I think travelling is the best way to know people, to learn about different cultures, languages, to open your mind with different points of view and life experiences. I also think that people that is always open to help others is the best that you can meet. Im sure that Couchsurfing can give me great human experiences while I’m visiting different cities.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love blues, jazz and R&B. Those are the genres that I use to sing the most. Classical music was my beggining, I studied opera singing in the conservatory when I was 15 and later in the university I studied all the European music history. I can’t wait to go to new museums and to great operas, and why not to join some jam sessions!

I also like to read, mostly novels, philosophy and poetry. I think the paper book is slowly becoming extinct and I want it to survive.

In the university, at the beggining of my career, I studied all arts history, so I really like to enjoy a good movie. Hitchcock, Tarantino and Fellini are my favorite directors!
