hi, i’m helene! i study Architecture in Weimar, but am originally from Berlin.
I both love cities and being in the nature, so I also care about the environment, for example by being vegetarian, and trying not to consume so much in general (plastic, clothes…)
What else? I like to read, sketch, linocuts, cutting out pictures from newspapers, galleries, theatre, trains and being drawn into rhythms (?) of cities.

i’m looking very much forward to meeting people from different countries and backgrounds. i hope that - by meeting locals - i get to know the city in a better way then by doing the typical touristy things.

Música, películas y libros

i find it hard to describe my music taste, even though I listen to a lot, but it’s probably something between calmer “alternative” hip hop, different sorts of electronic music, techno and random, maybe "strange" songs i coincidentally find on spotify.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I love to learn from people: So far, I’ve met interesting host families and locals in Ukraine, Israel and Kosovo. Last year I took part in a summerschool in Prishtina - Kosovo, in which i met the most interesting people from all around europe. I’d love to continue that via couchsurfing :)
