I've been cycling Latin America for years making stops to work and save money to keep on moving. Travelling by bicycle is the perfect way to get to know a country, its people and it's culture. I'm an open minded person who enjoys a good conversation, a tasty meal, a cold beer... I also love cycling (obviously ;p), hiking and diving (I'm a professional PADI divemaster). I prefer books over films or series. And I'm always up to a good plan, but sometimes I just need to rest after days of cycling.

Hace años que viajo en bicicleta por Latinoamérica haciendo paradas para trabajar y ahorrar para seguir el viaje. Hacerlo en bici me permite conocer mejor un país, su gente y su cultura. Soy una persona abierta de mente que disfruta de una buena conversación, una rica comida, una cerveza fría... También me encanta pedalear (obviamente ;p), la montaña y el buceo (soy guía profesional PADI). Prefiero un libro a una película o una serie. Y siempre me apunto a cualquier plan, aunque a veces solo necesito descansar después de varios días de bici.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main motivation for travelling is knowing different people, food, cultures, traditions... That's why I do it by bicycle, because it allows me to be more in contact with locals. And CouchSurfing is a great tool for that too.

Mi principal motivación para viajar es conocer diferentes personas, comidas, culturas, tradiciones... Por eso lo hago en bici, porque me permite estar más en contacto con la gente local. Y CouchSurfing es una gran herramienta para ello también.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of different styles, including hip hop, reggae, rock and some Latin rhythms like salsa or cumbia. Always eager to discover new music. My favorite film is City of God and my favorite writers are Gabriel García Márquez and Jose Saramago. I love reading books from the countries I visit because I think is a really good way of learning about its history and society.

Escucho diferentes estilos de música, principalmente hip hop, reggae, rock y algunos ritmos latinos como salsa o cumbia. Siempre dispuesto a descubrir nueva música. Mi película favorita es Ciudad de Dios y mis escritores favoritos son Gabriel García Márquez y Jose Saramago. Me encanta leer libros de los países que visito porque creo que es una gran forma de aprender sobre su historia y sociedad.
