Hello dear reader, I am Anna, a twenty-one years old university student of English (interpretation and translation). I am an ambivert, I like spending time alone or in calm places, but if the right mood hits and the right people appear I enjoy being active with them, going out and getting to know them. I tend to be quiet and shy, but I can be chatty when comfortable. I am a huge book lover and film admirer.

I wish I could offer to host someone and meet new people, but unfortunately, there is no place in the flat I currently share with others. Hopefully, it will change soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I gave this site a chance after hearing about my friend's experience with this site.

I have always travelled with someone and I think it's time to try it alone. That's why I'm here. I want to meet new people and learn new things from them. Travel to places I wouldn't think of.... find something new.

I can't list even my top 3. It just changes with my mood etc.
My taste in all these categories can be quite chaotic.

I listen to many types of rock, pop, musicals, and classical music.
As for books and movies, I like psychological thrillers, detective, fantasy and science fiction.
I am currently trying to discover the New Weird genre and China Mieville's world.
I am always up to trying new things, so I like any recommendation to broaden my horizons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am grateful for all the places I could visit already.
As a film lover, I will always hold onto the memories of those days when I have been cast as an extra on film or tv show sets.

I am always happy to learn something new. Doesn't matter if it's a new recipe, new words, information about some culture, book and movie recommendations etc. I believe there is always something that a person won't know or think of. And that is why it's so magnificent that we can meet so many different people.
