Overview
About Me
A "Viet kieu" girl who grew up in the Czech Republic, but still loves Vietnam a lot. (Understand: Gets the best of both worlds. :D)
My part-time job is to promote the Vietnamese culture. I take friends to eat Viet food, I share Vietnamese proverbs for particular situations or can sing in Vietnamese.
I don't usually host people, but highly likely will, if you can host me, too. =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel and meet new people! And promote Vietnamese culture! :P

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to watch Asian dramas, mostly C-drama but K-drama, T-drama or even V-drama is also really good! Don't have any ultimate favourite drama but some of the good ones are: Go Ahead, Cheese in the Trap, Penthouse.
Same for movies, I don't have any favourite but these are quite good: Parasite, The Handmaiden.
I have probably forgotten names of a lot of other good movies or series lol.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't have 1 significant amazing thing but here are some fairly nice things:
Taught English to talented highschoolers from VN via Nuoi Duong Nhan Tai.
Organised events with Association of Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in Czechia.
Taught Czech to Viet immigrants.
Teach, Learn, Share
One of my interests are languages. Not necessarily have to learn everything in that language but knowing a few phrases is fun, too.
As a fitness and nutrition enthusiast I am happy to share my knowledge with others. I am doing a PT course to structuralize my knowledge, btw.
Would love to learn and share verything about Vietnamese culture! I didn't grow up in Vietnam but I genuinely want to connect more with it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Even though I grew up and live in Prague, I have a strong bond with Vietnam. I jokingly say that I promote the Vietnamese culture everywhere I go but it's actually the truth lol. Vietnamese food is amazing and I am pretty confident that Viet food in Prague can compare those in Vietnam. Many Czech locals also love it! So yeah, come to Prague and I can take you to eat some or if you don't have plans to come to Prague, I will try to cook something good or sing some Viet songs for you. =)
