About Me

CURRENT MISSION:

Traveling on the inside and outside - Quit my job and sold everything I own to travel the world! What this adventure will bring - I don't know.
Just trusting and living life!

Being a foodie at heart and by profession, I am always on the hunt for the latest food trends, best dish in town, thirsty for knowledge and seeking personal growth! Traveling, getting to know different cultures, countries and mindful people is the best education!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, traveling is more than visiting a place. It’s about trying to understand the culture, to connect with people and try to see and experience the live through their eyes!
Therefore always looking for connections, good talks and company and authentic experiences among the way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Being a Junior Ambassador for the German government in the US as part of an exchange program of the German Bundestag and the US Congress. Goal was to contribute to intercultural exchange and getting an inside view of the American daily life.

- Getting rid of everything I owned and (still) being stunned by the freedom it brings with it.

- Finding a local Cuban guide and party organizer by just knowing his name and car model (Rapha with the white Lada) in Holguin, a 350K people city. After finding him, we explored the area and had some Cuban fiestas three days straight - Cubans know how to party for sure!

- Hitchhiking on a bike in the middle of Cambodia’s nowhere with guys driving not being older than 14

- Spending three days deep in the Sumatera Jungle camping and seing orang-utans.

- Teaching Yoga in Thailand

- Doing my first free diving lessons on the most remote island of Taiwan

- Doing a visa run at the Omani-UAE by hitchhiking (you are not allowed to cross the border by foot) and unexpectedly finding an amazing friendly Omani willing to drive me there and back.

Way more and happy to share ◡̈
