About Me

Call me Lita, I am a Javanese who live in Bali. Before moving to Bali, I live in Greater Jakarta and Bogor since 2010. I started traveling in 2013 when I am still a student by joining student exchange programs in more than 20 countries.

Since 2020, I was solo traveling across Indonesia from the West to the East part of Indonesia. I am an environmental consultant (mostly about plastic recycling - supply chain, marine conservation, Green SMEs, youth engagement, and community engagements), an advanced diver, and run a NGO related waste management in South Tangerang and Bali. It would be great if we can connect and hang out together for diving, backpacking, hiking, or others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo Traveling Across Indonesia Since 2020
My solo journey across Indonesia since 2020 has been a series of adventures. I've faced challenges like an ear injury while diving in Aceh and numerous motorbike accidents in West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara. I embarked on a 39-day road trip exploring Flores, Lembata, Alor, and Kupang, immersing myself in various local communities. I've independently planned all my trips, even experiencing life on a remote island in Yellit Misool, Raja Ampat, without internet access for several days.

I've been exploring the underwater wonders of the Coral Triangle, from Aceh to Papua, with Sulawesi, Maluku, Ambon, and Halmahera still on my bucket lists. I've also delved into Indonesian cuisine by learning slow cooking techniques, and I've even acquired a taste for betel nut. This is just a glimpse of my ongoing Indonesian adventure.

The Nippon Maru Experience (2016)
In 2016, I participated in the "Nippon Maru Experience," a unique opportunity. I joined 330 youths from ASEAN and Japan on a 52-day voyage aboard the luxury ship "MS Nippon Maru." Our journey sailed through Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia, concluding back in Japan.

Traveling to India (2014)
My trip to India in 2014 presented unexpected challenges. I lost my passport and missed my flight, forcing me to seek assistance from the Embassy. This experience has led many to say, "If you can survive India, you can survive anywhere."

Teach, Learn, Share

My hometown is in East Java, so I can teach you basic Javanese. Additionally, as a freediver and diver, I can share my basic freediving and diving skills. I'm a lifelong learner, so I'm excited to learn anything!
