Hello everyone, my name is Zyrus and I’m born and raised in the Northern Mariana Islands, specifically the beautiful island of Saipan! I have been traveling for over 2 and a half years now and decided to live a fulfilling life covering vast amount of land and experiencing new cultures!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed the Annapurna Circuit solo with no guide at 20 years old and became the very first person from my island to do so!

As someone who grew up on a remote island in the middle of the Pacific (Saipan), I experienced a melting-pot of ethnicities and culture. I was able to grow up having an American education, grow up with a loving Filipino family, and live a comfortable island lifestyle. I lived in the Philippines when I was 3-7 years old, and I’m capable of speaking fluent Tagalog because me and my family spoke it in our household. I’m currently taking a gap year to backpack throughout Europe before settling in the US to study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia. As a proud Filipino-American, I’m excited to share to everyone my hobbies, goals, and upbringing to form genuine connections and lifetime friendships and bonds! 🤞🏽
