About Me
Hello!!
My name is Mari and Im from Estonia. I currently study at EKA in the Contemporary Arts masters program. I do mainly video art, but I love any practice that lets me approach hands on. I also love film, my favourite movies being Nowhere, The Holy Mountain, Napoleon Dynamite and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Other than that I enjoy looking at interesting fish, going out to the woods to search for mushrooms, exploring abandoned places and just having a good time : )
I love meeting new people and seeing new places!!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of different music, ranging from jazz to death metal.
My all time faves are probably:
My Bloody Valentine, Duster, Radiohead, Aphex Twin, Massive Attack, Car Seat Headrest, King Krule, Stereolab, Death Grips, Nirvana, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Filmmaker, Mazzy Star, Machine Girl, Better Person, Connan Mockasin, Fleece
Weird, offputting arthouse films. I love good horror and surrealism alot. Fave movie of mine is probably Napoleon Dynamite closely followed by Nowhere. I could speak forever about cinema.
Ive been reading Ursula K. Le Guins Left Hand of Darkness lately. In general I lean alot towards scifi or dark fantasy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slept on a rock, under a sky filled with falling stars in Yosemite National park
