About Me

Hey, I’m Yuto from Japan 🇯🇵 — traveler, entrepreneur, and music lover.

I’ve explored all 47 prefectures of Japan 🗾 and I like finding real local spots: small cafés, coastal towns, and places most tourists never see.

I lived 3 years in the U.S. 🇺🇸 (mostly Hawaii 🤙🏝), did a 2-month road trip across “35 states🇺🇸” and I’ve visited 🇮🇹 🇨🇦 🇲🇽 🇦🇪 🇸🇦 🇹🇼 🇨🇳 🇻🇳 🇵🇭 🇸🇬 🇴🇲 🇶🇦 🇧🇭 🇪🇬so far. My long-term goal is to visit every country in the world 🌍✈️

I like meeting new people, discovering new places, and understanding local life — culture, food, daily routines, and history — through real conversations.

What matters most to me is trust, honesty, and respect. 🤝

For me Couchsurfing isn’t “a free place to sleep,” it’s an exchange. I try to contribute and bring good energy, not just take.

When I stay with someone:
• I keep the place clean 🧼
• I follow house rules and quiet hours
• I can help with small things if it’s useful
• I communicate clearly and I don’t bring drama

I don’t smoke 🚭 and I rarely drink.

I hold a Bachelor of Law from Keio University (a top private law faculty in Japan 🎓), and I’m an open-minded traveler who likes good conversation, walking around new cities, and learning how people actually live.

Right now I’m traveling full-time, so I can’t host at the moment — but I’m planning to start hosting later this year (most likely Tokyo or Honolulu). I want to return the hospitality I’ve received.

If you’re up for it, I’m always down to meet, talk, and explore an area you’re proud of. I’m straightforward, respectful, and reliable.

💼 What I Do

• Head of Business at an AI startup in Silicon Valley
• Founder & CEO of a marketing agency
• COO at a FoodTech company

I build things, I solve problems, and I like creating products people actually use. I’m also starting a small blog to share travel, music, and work stories.

Surfing / Hosting

I’m traveling full-time right now so I can’t host yet.
But I’m always open to meeting up, walking around the city, or grabbing coffee.

Once I settle down, I’ll start hosting and give back.
