Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There’s something truly magical about meeting new people, hearing their stories, sharing meals, swapping travel tales to exploring hidden gems in the city together. I think Couchsurfing has a way of turning strangers into friends and creating both small and big memories that last a lifetime.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and movies – they’re my ultimate escape, my go-to sources of inspiration and joy.

As for music, John Mayer has been a constant companion on my musical journey. His lyrics, his melodies – they speak to my soul in a way that few others can. Recently I discovered Hermanos Gutierrez. Let me tell you, they’ve turned everything upside down (in the best way possible). Their sound? Utterly addictive. Trust me, once you dive into their discography, there’s no turning back.

As for films, Blade Runner (both versions), Prisoners, and Dune (both parts) hold permanent spots in my favorites list. Each one takes me on a journey of imagination and emotion that I never want to end.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had was my unforgettable adventure in Thailand. I started my journey in Bangkok, where I did remote work for a week with my friend.

Next up was the south of Thailand, visiting Koh Phangan, Krabi, and Koh Phi Phi. These places had the most breathtaking sunsets and unforgettable parties.

After that, we ventured to Chiang Mai, a city I absolutely loved. It had the perfect balance between a bustling city and serene nature.

Thailand felt like more than just a trip – it was an adventure that opened my eyes to myself, expanded my view of the world, and left me with memories that I’ll cherish forever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m passionate about connecting with people and sharing experiences, and I believe everyone has something valuable to offer. Here’s what I bring to the table:

Teach: With my background in design, I can offer insights into visual communication and creative processes. I also love photography and can share tips on capturing stunning shots, from understanding lighting to composing the perfect frame. Plus, I have a passion for dance and am currently learning hip hop and street dance, so I’d love to share some moves and groove together!

Learn: I’m always eager to learn from others, especially when it comes to different cultures and perspectives. Whether it’s picking up new cooking techniques, understanding local traditions, or diving into new music genres, I’m all ears.

Share: Having traveled extensively, particularly in Thailand, I can share travel tips and stories, including must-see spots, budgeting advice, and cultural insights. I also have experience with remote work and can offer advice on how to balance productivity and exploration while on the road.
