Hi everyone! My name is Shelby and I’m brand new to couch surfing!!! Can’t believe I haven’t explored this app until now!

The reason why I joined Couch Surfing is to relocate from the Santa Cruz area to San Diego and find an apartment to rent or even a room in someone’s place. I actually used to liv in the North Park area in SD for about 8 months in 2017 and absolutely loved it!!! Can’t wait to start my life over again!

Ideally I would love to spending 2-5 days in the SD area exploring, making new friends, going out and have a good time!

Couch surfing would be the perfect way for me to meet new local friends, explore the city more and have fun experiences before officially moving down there!

I’m an extremely quiet guest (yet very sociable if you want to hangout!!!), I give hosts their space and privacy when they need it, I’m way too clean/organized and leave a TINY footprint while staying with you.

I would of course treat your lovely home as my own! I like to pitch in with cleaning, buy you groceries (whatever you need or are craving that day) and love to share my love of reggae music and live concerts with others! Let’s hit up a live show while I’m in town!!!!

Since I don’t have an references on here yet, I’d be more than happy to provide you with a list of personal and even past landlord references so you feel more comfortable with me until I start getting more references on here!

Music includes anything REGGAE!!!! I’m obsessed with live music in general! And some of my favorite movies/TV series include GOT, Friends, Breaking Bad and Bridesmaids 👌🏼 A couple favorite books are “You’re a Badass” and “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck”.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve skydived as well as jumped off the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas!!! I’m a bit of a adrenaline junkie, always up for something new to try!

I can teach you all about reggae, Kandi making (if you’re into EDM), I would love to learn more SD and all it has to offer, and I can share plenty of food/drinks, beads for Kandi making and my company and friendship! Friendship means a lot to me, I take it very seriously and never take someone’s friendship for granted!

I can bring tons of food/drinks to share (whatever you request), I can cook delicious meals for you, I have TONS of beads to make Kandi bracelets (if you’re into EDM/Raves/PLUR), or provide you with good company and friendship!
