I’m a language teacher, artist, and cultural manager. I used to write for a critique magazine that died young, and once spent two years in an ashram learning devotional practices (to give it a name).

I’ve worked with dancers, actors, visual artists, and rural communities in the mountains of Colombia. I planted frailejones with an Indigenous community in the páramos and got lost in the Los Farallones de Cali.

I enjoy making food for others and listening to people’s stories. I’m obsessed with flamenco and Jordi Savall, but my playlist also has tons of Latin rhythms and old pop-rock. I teach English at Univalle.

Soy profesor de idiomas, artista y gestor cultural. Escribí para una revista de crítica que murió joven, y pasé dos años en un ashram aprendiendo “prácticas devocionales”.

He trabajado con bailarines, actores, artistas visuales y comunidades rurales en las montañas de Colombia. Planté frailejones con una comunidad indígena en los páramos y una vez me perdí en Los Farallones de Cali.

Disfruto cocinar para otros y escuchar historias de vida. Estoy obsesionado con el flamenco y con Jordi Savall, aunque mi playlist también tiene un montón de ritmos latinos y pop-rock viejo. Enseño inglés en Univalle.

I’ve always been curious about how others live. I think there’s something interesting in sharing space and food with strangers.

I love language exchanges and have years of experience teaching English and Spanish. I’ve also led a few creative writing workshops. I enjoy sharing traditional food from my country and having conversations about anything .
