About Me

Hi everyone,

my name is Giulia, I'm 26 years old and I'm a sunny, easygoing girl with a strong feeling for nature and art. I like to spend my free time in nature, especially in the mountains and I am also a big fan of art, museums and going to the cinema! I really like languages, I studied and lived two and a half years in Germany and I am very attracted to others cultures. I love meeting and getting to know new people, to come into contact with the variety that humanity has to offer.

"Buon viaggio hermano querido e buon cammino ovunque tu vada,
forse potremo incontrarci di nuovo lungo la strada"

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is very varied, I like to listen to it according to my mood of the moment, so my playlists are very varied: from 80s rock, to classical music, rap, German techno... a bit of everything!

My favourite film is undoubtedly "Chocolat", not just because I have a big sweet tooth, but because of the film's message, in which we see how even an ordinary woman like a chocolatier can actually bring about great change: by remaining true to one's ideals and not letting adversity get you down, by leaving one's heart available, one can achieve great things. But also "Dead poets society" is very important to me.

Favourite book? Siddhartha, of course. Hesse needs no comment!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If we meet, I'll tell you! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share my culture with those I meet, I can teach a few words in my beautiful dialect and a few basic Italian recipes. I can offer my listening and understanding, because most of all I would like to learn from others new ways of thinking and living life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am respectful and polite, to hosts I can offer my hands to cook, my ears to listen and my loooooong tongue to talk about any subject at any time :))
