Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent the summer of 2018 in Spain as an au pair, the summer of 2022 in Jordan working in a hospital as a medical student, and the summer of 2024 in Brazil, also at a hospital. These experiences showed me that the best way to truly get to know a country is by connecting with its people. Spending time with local families and communities was incredibly enriching and unforgettable. Since then, whenever I travel, I try to immerse myself in local life and Couchsurfing is a great platform to make that possible.
