Overview
About Me
I’m Ghaida, born in the U.S., raised in Saudi, and rooted in its north.
I speak Arabic and English, and somehow both worlds shaped me equally.
I live in Riyadh now and find joy in simple things — honest talks, unplanned days, and quiet moments that end up meaning the most.
If you’re curious to see Saudi from a local’s point of view, I’m happy to share a few favorite spots and everyday experiences.
What I Offer
I sometimes plan:
- Cultural meetups (coffee, exhibitions, hidden spots, or seasonal events)
- Day plans to explore the city with conversation and local context
- Small group road trips (4+ people) to other Saudi cities, led by locals, shaped by real stories
⚠️ Important Note
I don’t use this app for dating.
I don’t host or stay overnight.
I meet travelers in public places only.
I don’t accept vague, fake, or mysterious profiles.
I don’t promise experiences, I just show up and let the moment shape itself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people visiting Riyadh who want to experience it beyond the surface.

Music, Movies, and Books
Old songs are my favorite. I like movies based on real stories. not much into reading books, I’d rather watch them come to life on screen!

Built balance between two cultures without losing my sense of self
