Im a PhD student at Stanford, working on Ottoman history. I’m also pursuing a minor in computer science - I’m interested in the intersection of AI, history, and languages.

With the support of a fellowship, I took a gap year from 2022 to 2023 to explore my passion in languages and folk songs. I love history, language learning, and world music. I enjoy meeting and talking with all kinds of people, and singing with friends and strangers alike.
