Hello everyone, I am Ateş. I'm 22 years old and I am from Turkey. Im a university student departmant of English Language Teaching. I like to travel, visit different countries and meet different people. If I get the opportunity to travel, I will never miss it and go at all costs. I have traveled to 18 different countries so far, but unfortunately I have little reference because I did not use this application at that time :) I am talkative and friendly. I can easily adapt to the environments I'm in, so you don't need to be afraid of me, ahaha :) I love learning new cultures and information, so I'm open to all kinds of conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because while traveling, I also want to learn new cultures about that country and meet different people. This is one of the most suitable platforms for this. That's why I don't prefer hotels because we only use them to sleep.

Interests

As I said before, my biggest passion is traveling and meeting new people. Besides, I know how to dance salsa and bachata. I like playing chess, listening to music, dancing and going to bars. I can talk all about football and food. I love to travel different countries and meeting people from different cultures. I am very social and talaktive person. I like to speaking about anything :) I'm also super good at cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can watch all kind of movies except for horrors. I'm a big fan of Marvel . And I've watched almost every movie on the market but you can still suggest me some because ım sure that there is still left to watch. And ım a big fan of Imagine Dragons. My dream is to go to his concert one day. Even though I am Turkish, I do not like Turkish songs, the lyrics seem meaningless to me

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited 10 countries in 1 week and walked a total of 150 km. While doing these, I was almost unconscious from lack of sleep

One night when I was very drunk, I woke up in a house I didn't know and still couldn't figure out how I got there. From that day on, I stopped drinking excessively

Teach, Learn, Share

I know salsa and bachata, I can teach you the basic steps, if you ask why only the basics, it's a bit difficult and we may not have enough time to teach them all :) I can also teach Turkish food and culture. I can even cook Turkish food for you. My field of study is English, so if some of you want to learn English, I can help.
