Hello, nice to meet you, I'm Romane Iskaria, I'm from south of France and I live and work in Brussels Belgium. I'm professional photographer and artist with a documentary approach. I have to travel for my projects, exhibit my work or just for fun! I travel quite regularly, for my artistic projects and for pleasure. I place great importance on meeting people in a safe way and creating connections.

Even more so in my photographic and artistic projects because I'm someone committed to carrying the voices of invisible communities. My projects are about identity, origins, territorial struggles, exile and migration.

My job is an integral part of my life, it's a pleasure to meet people who share the same values, and couchsurfing is a meaningful community. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have already used couch surfing in several of my trips. I met beautiful peoples who allowed me to discover places where I would not have gone. I met incredible friends that I still keep today.

Rather, I seek to make connections. I happen to travel alone so it allows me to have advice for exploring. To see places I wouldn't go. Share a moment with a travel companion or a local. Make new friends !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every trip is an incredible adventure. I did a tour of Europe by interail train with a friend, it was crazy! All the trips I had the chance to take were wonderful experiences. We will discuss it!
