Hello, my name is Maite Gonzalez, I’m 23 years old and I’m coming from Spain.
After graduating as an environmental biologist last year, I decided to embark on the adventure of travelling to a different place from where I come from, such as Southwest Asia, and broadening the mental framework that I’m used to coming from Europe.
I’m attracted by the idea of immersing myself in local life and experiencing its cultural diversity from the roots of the country.

As a biologist, I’m interested in all kinds of topics related to the environment and the role of humans in processes subject to global change.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been graduate as an environmental educator in Spain and I would like to take the opportunity to volunteer to put my knowledge into practice and learn about the connection of the local people and those involved in the project with nature and the different eco-social and cultural aspects of the land they come from.
In addition, I enjoy physical activity such as running and trekking, and I could use the opportunity to share knowledge in proprioception and strengthening. I’m also interested in learning about the practice of yoga and its benefits.
