About Me

Hello everyone,

I'm Şefika, a computer engineer based in Istanbul. I'm thrilled to be part of the Couchsurfing community and have the opportunity to connect with travelers from around the world.

One of my greatest passions is traveling and immersing myself in new experiences. Exploring different cultures, trying local cuisines, and meeting fascinating people along the way brings me immense joy. I believe that travel is not only about visiting new places but also about creating meaningful connections with the people who call those places home.

I consider myself a friendly and open-minded individual, always eager to learn from others and make lifelong connections. If you're passing through Istanbul and would like to experience the city like a local, don't hesitate to reach out. I would be delighted to meet you, share stories over a cup of Turkish tea, and show you the beauty of this enchanting city.

Feel free to check out my profile for more information about me and my interests. If you have any questions or would like to connect, don't hesitate to send me a message. I'm excited about the possibility of meeting new friends and creating unforgettable memories together.

Happy travels!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge fan of Sezen Aksu, a legendary Turkish singer and songwriter. Her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics have captivated me for years.

One of my all-time favorite movies is "The Prestige." This mind-bending psychological thriller directed by Christopher Nolan has left a lasting impact on me.

I'm also a fan of the sitcom "Friends." The lovable characters, witty humor, and heartwarming moments make it timeless.

My best Turkish series is "Avrupa Yakası". It made me forgot to eat lunch sometimes. :)
