My name is Shuta.
I am 23 years old and currently attending a university in Japan. I am doing a research on urban policy in my university life, and I am interested in people's lives and cityscapes. This is my first major trip abroad. I am excited about the unknown world that I have yet to see.
I am traveling around the world with a team. Our team name is "Alquest".
It means "alchemist," "quest," and "Aruku. Aruku" means "to walk" in Japanese.
I am good at finding hints for a rich life in various cultures.
By experiencing interesting cultures and people's lives around the world, I intend to decide how I will live my life in the future.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This is because I want to gain a deeper understanding of the regions and cultures of the world through exchange.
I am traveling around the world for a year and cannot stay in one region for a long time.
I believe that in order to promote understanding of a region during a short stay, it is very important to interact with the local people.
By couchsurfing, I would like to understand the local culture and common sense and make my trip more educational.
I also believe that Japanese culture and cuisine are topics that can be shared.
I would like to have a good time with my hosts and make my stay a learning experience for both of us!
