About Me

I’m a computer geek, philosopher, singer, dancer, actor, designer, architect, model, demi-god hah. Well, I’m all these things and at the same time I’m not. Life’s too much fun to be focusing on just one thing and after all we are borrowed here so I’m better at some worse at others.

One of my greatest passions in life is learning and I never lose a chance to do exactly that. My goal is to learn something everyday no matter what. Even if it’s a couple of words in a language I don’t know, or some amazing detail about somebody else, or some new programming framework. But above all I love philosophy and if you’re not a convinced Aristotelian I’d like to welcome you to it with reason and of course, some beer or any other drink of your choice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting locals is better than google, one usually learns the little tricks about a city that might otherwise take years to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like dancing “Casino” which is what we call “salsa” in Cuba. I currently learning to play Afro-Cuban rhythms in the “tumbadoras” as well as other more folkloric African rhythms.

I’m a grumpy old man when it comes to movies cause i’m mostly into older movies and directors; just to mention some of them, Akira Kurosawa, Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick and the sort of more modern ones I quite like, Ari Aster, Martin Scorssese, Aronofsky and some others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I achieved lucid dreaming some years ago and it’s possibly the hardest I ever had to work on a particular activity. I’m really proud of it. Unfortunately I cannot invite you into one of my dreams so you can see for your self but I can give you some tips on how to do it.

Teach, Learn, Share

The only thing I can teach is the little I know about software development, gnoseology and music :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing experiences, knowledge, music, and I can talk pretty much about anything except cars, I don’t know much about cars.

Countries I’ve Visited

Colombia, Denmark, France, Hungary, Norway, Spain, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Cuba, Spain, Sweden
