I am Tuna from Turkey, named after a fish and from a country named after a bird :)

I used to work as a consultant for international youth exchange projects for more than three years during my university years.

Right now I am working as a product manager at a fintech company and want to experience the cultural exchange more and travel as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do think Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to connect with locals. Instead of travelling budget focused, Couchsurfing allows you to actually understand how it is to be a local and collect great memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don’t think that I have great accomplishments in my life but if I must, I can only think of one thing. I have volunteered for an international youth exchange organization for about 3.5 years. Discover and developed my personality during my time there. Most important part is that I had the chance consult over a 1000 people who likes to travel around the world and help people and learn about their culture and assist them to make it possible to actually go on an exhange for about 150 them. I believe in the fact that everything is an experience and by helping people to pursue their goals in a way I managed to impact many more indirectly, which i think is the thing that makes it amazing..

Teach, Learn, Share

I am named after the Danube river. We call it Tuna in Turkish. My goal is to from discover and travel around it as much as I can. Listen to what people has to tell about their lives starting from it’s end to it’s very beginning and hopefully find a meaning to my living meet some great people through out the my journey :)
