Hey there, Im Matthias. I would decribe myself as a kind, cheerful and creative person. I am calm, almost introverted sometimes but I love connecting with people, listening to their stories and telling mine. Whether for having deep conversations or lighthearted talks- Im all for it. I am passionate about Nature and Music- both make up a big part of my life. I am outside every day, riding my bike, walking, working in the garden, climbing on rocks and trees or just sitting somewhere- listening, watching. Likewise I play guitar almost every day- when I am at home at least- and love listening to Music. Im hoping to play in a Band some day. The last year I have cared for Horses and discovered what amazing animals they are, and I am planning to delve deeper into that, as well as caring for and living with other animals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had great experiences with Workaway, where the principle, be it a bit more long-term, is similar. Living with locals you wouldn't meet or talk to otherwise is very enriching for me.

Interests

I like being outside and close to nature, hiking, walking, rockclimbing, just sitting somewhere, or cycling.

I'm pretty passionate about climbing rocks, so if you are looking for a belay partner hit me up.

I also enjoy cooking and baking- my meals are a long way from greatness but I am learning and having fun, which are two principles I try to live by.

Music is very important to me. I listen to Music almost daily, singing along for myself and in the future hopefully for others too. When I am at home I play electric guitar a lot, learning my favorite songs.

I have cycled to northern Norway in the summer of 2022, and returned in the Summer of 2023.
